Financial hardship should never prevent a student from participating in Liberty Marching Band, Colorguard, or Winter Percussion. If you qualify for free or reduced fees (see https://www.hsd.k12.or.us/details/~board/district-news/post/district-fees-updates) you may apply for a full or partial scholarship.

How To Apply

Step 1. Email libertybandandguard@gmail.com to apply. For example:

• I can pay $200. I am requesting a scholarship to cover the remaining balance.

or

• I am requesting a scholarship to cover my entire participation fee.

Step 2. Select Pay Later during the online registration process.

Step 3. The Treasurer will let you know your application was approved and apply “booster credits” to your account balance.

Work Requirement

Scholarship does not cover volunteer opt-out fees. Scholarship recipients and their families (or friends or relatives) are expected to:

• Participate in individual fundraisers (if offered) 
• Volunteer at least 32 hours (including a shift at LMAC or LWC)
• Participate in our Can Drive fundraiser

We understand this is not always possible for all families and we will consider all applications.
