Attendance Policy

Student will attend all rehearsals and weekend competitions (see https://app.boosterhub.com/calendar). Any absence must be approved in advance by Mr. Soon (Fall) or Ryan/Jaymi (Winter).

Hold Harmless Agreement

I release Liberty High School, its representatives, agents, and employees from liability for any injury to above named student, resulting from any cause whatsoever occurring to above named student at any time while participating in marching band or colorguard, including travel to and from competitions, excepting only such injury or damage resulting from willful acts of such representatives, agents, and employees.

32-hour Volunteering Commitment

Parents (and/or family or friends) are expected to complete 32 volunteer hours per family per Fall or Winter Percussion season (see https://lbb.boosterhub.com/about/11828) unless otherwise arranged. There is no hour requirement for Winterguard (just a shift at LWC).

Medical Authorization

I authorize the advisor or chaperone to administer and/or obtain routine or emergency diagnostic procedures and/or routine medical treatment for the above-named student as deemed necessary by medical judgment. Every effort will be made to contact parents/guardian prior to any treatment.

LMAC/LWC Volunteering Commitment

Parents (and/or family or friends) are expected to volunteer a minimum of 1 shift per family per year at either LMAC (Oct 11, 2025) or LWC (Mar 28, 2026).

Photo Release

I acknowledge photographs of the group or individual students may be used to promote the activities of the band program in print publications, presentations, websites, or social media; and no royalty, fee, or other compensation shall be provided for such use.

Financial Agreement

You will be billed $20/hr for any unmet volunteer hours and $80 for unmet LMAC/LWC shift, unless otherwise arranged. Unpaid fees may prevent your student from receiving their diploma.
